MECHANICAL → DIGITAL

I understand the physical system before I automate around it.

My strongest bridge is not “mechanical versus software”. It is understanding a real machine and a real process first, then choosing the right tool to keep it running and make it better.

01

Turning + milling

Technical diploma as turner and milling machinist (CNOS-FAP, Italy). Tolerances, tools, materials, technical drawings and the discipline of physical parts.

02

CNC + PLC specialization

One extra year of specialization in CNC lathe, CNC milling and PLC. This is where mechanical work met programmable control.

03

Technical drawing

AutoCAD: reading and drawing technical drawings. Useful when a part has to be identified, measured or replaced.

04

Production environments

Hands-on work around production machinery and industrial night shifts, with quality checks, hygiene rules and safety procedures.

05

Logistics + coordination

Operational responsibility, reporting, shift handovers and team coordination: how technical systems interact with people and flow.

06

Software + automation

Later I added Python, TypeScript, APIs, databases, workflow automation and AI, including an operations app used by night-shift team leaders.

Give me the machine, the process and the failure mode. I will learn the system.

WHERE I FIT

Technical maintenance · automated warehouses · MHE · industrial software

I am clear about what I know and what I still need to learn. My hands-on foundation is mechanical and operational; my newer work is software, automation and AI.

That is why automated warehouses interest me: conveyors, sorters and high-bay cranes are physical equipment, but the system around them is increasingly digital.

What I bring to a technical team

Safety first

Secure the situation, follow isolation procedures (lockout/tagout), understand before intervening.

Fault finding

Start with symptoms, narrow the cause, verify assumptions, document what changed.

Preventive thinking

Recurring failures are information. Maintenance should reduce repetition, not only restore operation.

Learning loop

Review errors, study the system after the shift and return with a better model of how it behaves.
